They could not help wanting to know who it belonged to.
"Uh, why does this voice sound familiar?" The pupils of the two old toads on Jiraiya's shoulders widened, shock replacing everything in their eyes.
Sage Mode began to dissipate as well.
"Old man, what sounds familiar?" Sage Shima looked at everything before her in shock. Never before had a single person's voice left Sage Fukasaku so stunned.

She could clearly see several expressions flash across Fukasaku Toad's face—conflict, shock, astonishment. None of them seemed enough to fully convey his emotions.
"Huh? Is that person famous?" Jiraiya casually picked at his ear. Things were practically over now, and he did not believe anything could be more shocking than Hashirama being exiled. "Could it be some reclusive expert who has finally shown himself today?"
Jiraiya could only assume that some ninja had been watching the battle and wanted to save Hashirama Senju.
"Not a reclusive expert, but someone who has already died. No... he has always been everywhere!" After dwelling on that illusory figure, Fukasaku seemed to fall into some sort of reverie. Yet by the end, his tone carried reverence.
"Old man, could it be the one you mean?" Upon hearing Fukasaku Toad's words, shock appeared on Sage Shima's toad face as well. If it really was that person, then this matter had become serious.
If that person sided with Hashirama Senju, the situation might be reversed.
