History

Formation in the Frozen Tundra

Talulah escaped into the Frozen Tundra after believing she had killed Koschei and formed the earliest Reunion Movement. Its decisive transformation came when it formally joined Patriot's Infected Shield; Talulah, Roy, and Patriot then became the leadership of the reborn movement 366 364.

The organization grew from scattered Infected fighters into a disciplined force through combat training, political education, and Patriot's military experience. By the period before the Battle of Oymia, it had nearly 15,000 members and access to weapons and equipment captured from the city's stores 97.

Battle of Oymia

Having captured Oymia, the Movement fortified the mobile city in mountainous terrain and prepared to face Ursus's Seventh Army. Its forces used repaired Shieldguard equipment, captured Ursus arms, artillery crews from the Infected guerrillas, and a defensive position that exposed only one major approach 97 98 99.

During the battle, Roy's elite force used a spatial rift to infiltrate the enemy rear and capture General Lomonosov, while Patriot shifted the defenders into a general advance. The Seventh Army's command structure collapsed, and the surviving soldiers were surrounded 101 102 103.

Expansion into Chernobog

After Oymia, the Movement sent Roy to establish contacts with other Infected groups and prepare future operations. It entered Chernobog in advance, trained lower-city Infected, and warned the population that a Rhine Lab Catastrophe weapon was targeting the city 105 136 137 141.

When the Catastrophe struck, the Movement used a portal between Oymia and Chernobog to move troops and supplies into the Lower City. Talulah led the army toward the Upper City with disaster relief, rather than revenge, declared as its immediate priority 172 176.

Liberation and Reconstruction of Chernobog

The Movement captured the Core Tower, suppressed rioters, rescued civilians, and restored order during the Catastrophe. Its members excavated collapsed buildings, treated survivors, cleared wreckage, and covered exposed Originium crystals to reduce the risk of infecting those they rescued 177 185.

After the Third Army advanced toward Lungmen, Patriot led the main force to delay it through containment and guerrilla tactics. Roy and W sabotaged the fleeing Chernobog module, destroying its Originium reactor and preventing it from reaching Lungmen 192 197 200.

Chernobog became the Movement's principal center after the war. It rebuilt infrastructure, established public administration, held its first General Assembly, and reorganized its political and military institutions 200 209 210.

Reorganization and Northern Campaign

The Movement's forces were reorganized as the Ursus Red Army, while the Ursus Red Faction and later the People's Revolutionary Committee provided political leadership 210 264 335. Former Seventh Army officer Govorov became commander of the First Artillery Division after reeducation and service during the Battle of Chernobog 264.

The reorganized force expanded northward toward the tundra, reestablishing contact with isolated Infected communities and preparing new settlements and industry in eastern Ursus 260 263 265. By the Summer Offensive, the Ursus Red Army was advancing into hostile tundra territory under commanders including Mudrock 334 335.
