Background

Eye Demon first confronts Anglie after he kills several of her One-Eyed Dwarves. She attacks with negative energy, but their clash ends when both recognize the danger of a prolonged battle. Identifying herself as the ruler of Liontree City, she proposes territorial boundaries and trade rather than continued conflict. 336 337

She subsequently invites Anglie, whom she knows as “Phoenix,” to a gathering in Lava Hell. As host, she introduces him to established figures including Bone, Spider, and Waperi, then presides over an assembly of eight Sealers—the largest such event in Lava Hell for thousands of years. 338 341 343

At the gathering, Eye Demon conducts an auction for the Minstrel’s Crown and secretly enlists Anglie to drive up its price in return for a share of the proceeds. She then directs discussion toward the Void Rift and the South Region’s choice of worlds for future incursions. 343 344

Afterward, she supplies Anglie with a refined-blood pool, Cyclops descendants, experimental subjects, and a shared Eye of Truth map. The map is compiled from terrain data gathered by Eyes of Truth throughout the Nightmare World and cannot be viewed without Eye Demon authorization. 345

She is composed in public and controls the tone of her gatherings, yet her behavior can turn forceful when denied. Her attempt to obtain Ophi and the injury she inflicts on Anglie demonstrate that her polite manner does not prevent coercion. Bone Demon openly considers her treacherous and warns Anglie that she can become hostile without warning. 353 345

Despite this ruthlessness, she shows attachment to Ibrus, expressing joy at the giant turtle’s survival before fighting it. She also chooses to move their battle away from Silver City, avoiding further harm to its inhabitants. 415 416
