Long Tian reached out and smoothed the golden strands of hair over her forehead.

"I've always had only you by my side."

"What about before?"

"It was the same before."

"What about Shui Bing'er?"

Qian Renxue's gaze shifted slightly, and her tone turned serious.

Long Tian looked at her without answering in a hurry.

"Bing'er is my teammate."

"Just a teammate?"

"And a friend."

"What else?"

"She is the vice-captain of Skywater Academy."

Qian Renxue pressed her red lips together.

"You always answer so cleanly."

"Because that is the truth."

"But she likes you."

"I know."

"You know?"

Qian Renxue immediately sat up, her golden hair slipping down from her shoulders.

Long Tian propped himself up and sat facing her.

"I already responded to her."

"How did you respond?"

"I told her I had a girlfriend."

The frustration on Qian Renxue's face quickly faded.

"You said that in front of her?"

"I did."

"She wasn't angry?"

"She accepted it."

Qian Renxue looked at him for a moment, then raised her hand and held his handsome face.

"You must not let her misunderstand in the future."

"I won't."

"And you're not allowed to hug her on your own."

"Unless she can't stand steadily."

"Then call me first."

"You're in Spirit City."

"I can rush over."

Long Tian looked at her serious expression and reached out to pinch her cheek.

"You look like a teacher right now."

"How?"

"You manage too much."

Qian Renxue immediately let go and turned her back to him.

"I won't manage you anymore."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Then I'm going to the Elder Hall."

Long Tian lifted the covers and prepared to get out of bed.

His sleeve was suddenly tugged.

"Wait."

Qian Renxue did not turn around.

"I'm not done speaking yet."

"What other requests do you have?"
