Inside the main tent of the Zhou camp, Ji Fa, Heir Apparent of the Zhou Kingdom, sat in the seat of honor. King Wucheng Huang Feihu and Grand Preceptor Jiang Shang of the Zhou Kingdom sat to either side, while the dozens of chairs in the two rows below were filled to capacity.

The row of chairs on the right was headed by Ji Dan and mostly occupied by members of Ji Chang's Hundred Sons Group, the various nobles of the Zhou Kingdom.

The left side was far more formidable: Guang Chengzi, Chi Jingzi, True Person Huang Long the bondage enthusiast, True Lord Taiyi, True Lord Yu Ding, plus Manjushri, Samantabhadra, and Daoist Cihang—the trio destined to defect from the sect—along with Daoxing, Great Mage Lingbao, and Qingxu, the "three with no presence."

Only Ju Liusun was absent from such an important gathering.

At that moment, Ju Liusun was still suffering calamity within his cave abode. The only thing he could do was train Tu Xingsun, the disciple he had previously taken in to block calamities for him.

Aside from the Twelve Golden Immortals, Golden Immortals of Virtue with profound cultivation such as Yun Zhongzi naturally could not be absent either. The disciples each of them could bring along stood behind them as well.

After all, the Ten Absolute Arrays had become ten great mountains pressing down upon their heads.

And there were ten of them pressing down at once!

If they did not break the arrays, they had lost this round.

Losing a little face was a minor matter. But if the Jie Teaching side began building momentum from victory after victory and the Chan Teaching consequently fell into decline, it could very well affect the course of the Great Cataclysm.
