I had originally planned to release the book in the middle of the month, and I'd already mapped out the schedule. I'd gotten enough rest too, but the new book ran into a bit of trouble.
First, the story I'd prepared for more than half a year had some potential pitfalls in the middle and later stages of the outline after careful consideration, so I decided to play it safe and abandon it.
I came up with several new story ideas and wrote more than a hundred thousand words of discarded drafts, but none of them ever reached a standard I was satisfied with. Senior Brother's side stories were delayed because of this as well.
I came over to let everyone know.
I have to produce a work that satisfies me—a satisfying xianxia light comedy. Results are one thing, but the quality of the writing has to improve as well.
I've more or less found the right direction now.
The day Senior Brother's side stories resume is the day the new book's story will be finalized. Let me devote all my energy to the new book first.
New book synopsis (not finalized):
The heavens stretch ninety thousand li high, and the earth holds countless kingdoms.
How prosperous is the Human Dao? Mountains and seas abound with wild marshes.
Not a Primordial World genre story, with no Dao Ancestor or Three Pure Ones system. It will delve into more original Chinese Classical Mythology and continue the xianxia light-comedy style.
—Respectfully, Back to the Main Topic.
