Where to Get the Money

"Come, let me introduce you. These are my work assistants. This is Elena, Nova..."

In the office at the Duma Building, Wang Ye was introducing Rosiana to the beautiful women in his assistant team.

When they heard that Rosiana would be coming to serve as their boss's special assistant, Elena and the others kept their expressions neutral, though each had their own thoughts.

Nova in particular felt a little hostile as she looked at Rosiana.

She was worried that this unbelievably beautiful girl would become her sister's "romantic rival"!

Wang Ye naturally had no idea what his assistants were thinking, nor did he care much.

Rosiana's title was tentatively set as "special assistant," which distinguished her from Elena and the others.

Obviously, a special assistant would have access to more of Wang Ye's affairs and greater authority than Elena and the others.

Wang Ye had once served as Khovchenko's special assistant himself.

So he understood that the authority of this position could be adjusted at will.

If he trusted Rosiana, he could grant her greater authority.

If he did not trust her, then this special assistant position would become mere decoration, and she would not get anywhere near his real secrets!

After the introductions, Wang Ye led Rosiana into the inner office.

The two sat down across from each other, looking at one another.

Wang Ye smiled. "Why are you sitting there like an idiot? The refrigerator's over there. Go get us something to drink. Are you waiting for me to get it for you? Miss, you're an assistant now, not some big-shot reporter."

Rosiana did not get angry. With a grin, she stood up, walked over to the refrigerator, and opened it. Inside was a dazzling array of drinks.

She did not ask Wang Ye what he wanted.
