Background

Transformation Force is the perfection stage of the Eight Extremes Stake Skill and the highest of the first three martial realms: Bright Force, Hidden Force, and Transformation Force. Bright Force corresponds to minor stake-skill mastery, Hidden Force to major mastery, and Transformation Force to perfection. 9

The first three realms temper qi and blood, flesh, skin, tendons, bones, and meridians. Although Transformation Force practitioners are regarded in secular society as eminent martial masters, the realm remains part of the foundational martial stage. Embracing the Core is identified as the fourth realm and the first true step toward becoming a martial powerhouse. 66 91

A Transformation Force breakthrough requires sufficiently powerful vitality and blood to enter the meridians, clear their blockages, and open acupoints. During Zhao Feng's breakthrough, his force repeatedly scattered within the meridians until he condensed it and opened the barriers one by one. 83
