High above the Great Void, the Wind-Thunder Demon Emperor watched the world disappear beneath the Annihilation Thunder, his heart knotted with unease.

The Annihilation Thunder Pearl was a treasure left by the Thunder Roc Clan. A former Old Ancestor had gathered heavenly thunder, fused it with tribulation energy, and fashioned it in imitation of the Immortal-Felling Thunder. Not only was its power terrifying, comparable to a strike from someone at Celestial Phenomenon Peak, but it also carried an aura of destruction that could erase Dao resonance. It was exceptionally suited to killing.

In fact, if the Thunder Roc Clan's future had not been at stake, he would never have brought out this pearl.
