Deep within the void, no heavenly light remained; there was only darkness.

At a certain moment, a faint glimmer lit up. A silver-white fire serpent wound its way forward, leaving a trail through the void.

"Finally, I'm in. The divine network of the Southern Wilderness is even tighter than I originally expected. There are even quite a few deliberately planted openings. If I didn't possess the Glazed Pure-Fire Eye and know something about the divine path, I might truly have fallen into the trap."

Seeing the hazy glow ahead, True Lord Void Flame Feather let out a long breath. After repeated cautious probes, he had finally grasped the operating patterns of the Southern Wilderness's vast divine network. As long as he proceeded carefully from here on, there should not be much of a problem.

"The hardest hurdle has already been crossed. Next, I need to find Jiang Chen, seek an opportunity, and deal him a fatal blow. But where has Jiang Chen hidden his true body?"

As thoughts collided, several place names flashed through True Lord Void Flame Feather's mind. These were all intelligence he had previously obtained from the Dark Feather Cult—places where Jiang Chen's true body might be staying.

"Since I've already infiltrated this place, I must all the more endure the loneliness. I cannot startle the grass and alert the snake."

"The Southern Wilderness is neither too large nor too small. No matter how deeply Jiang Chen hides, with the Pure-Fire Eye's support, I'll be able to find him given enough time."

With that thought, True Lord Void Flame Feather hesitated no longer and concealed himself once more.

While True Lord Void Flame Feather searched for Jiang Chen's true body, deep within the Southern Wilderness, an incomparably violent demonic aura was awakening. Three demonic shadows alternately separated
