Her inspiration was subtle, reaching through Heaven and Earth. Saint Lord Dan Xi was the first to notice the anomaly. The instant balance was achieved, more than half of the boundless, sea-like mana in his body was wiped away by an invisible giant hand.
Caught in such a drastic turn, the might of Yi Yang Saint Lord's divine abilities immediately plummeted. Nor was he alone—Dan Xi Saint Lord suffered the same fate.

There was nothing wrong with the immortal qi itself. Otherwise, they would not have remained completely unaware. Yet in a sense, this immortal qi had an owner, and that small purple-sandalwood scale was the manifestation of a Dao.
Someone had used it to establish a definition: whoever absorbed immortal qi with an owner must offer something equivalent in exchange. That thing was their mana. Ordinarily, this would not have been much of a problem. Dao Embryo cultivators could easily draw upon
