Background

Qian Xunye is Qian Daoliu’s eldest son and Qian Xunji’s biological older brother. At age six, he awakened the Dark Angel martial soul, a black, ultimate-darkness counterpart to the clan’s sacred Six-Winged Angel. Though born with innate Level 20 Soul Power, the martial soul’s ultimate attribute made his early cultivation unusually slow. 1

When Qian Xunji awakened the Six-Winged Angel two years later, Qian Daoliu redirected his affection, resources, and expectations toward the younger son. Xunye’s resentment deepened as he was neglected within his own clan. 1 9

At fifteen, Qian Xunye accepted an external mission, faked his death, and disappeared from Spirit City. Before leaving, he warned Qian Xunji not to accept Bibi Dong as a disciple. He returned thirty-seven years later, aged fifty-two but still outwardly youthful, to avenge Qian Xunji and prevent Qian Renxue from being sent to Heaven Dou Palace. 1

Despite being fifty-two upon his return, Qian Xunye retains the appearance of a young man. His facial features are notably similar to Qian Xunji’s, reinforcing his blood relation to Qian Renxue. 1 2

Personality

Qian Xunye is intensely independent and reacts violently to attempts to control him. His childhood neglect by Qian Daoliu left him hostile toward Spirit Hall’s hierarchy and the Six-Winged Angel Clan’s traditions; even after gaining access to Spirit City again, he refuses to let its authority dictate his path. 8 60 93
