Background

Yun Feng was originally a human soul who awakened within the Gold Dragon King's divine core after Tang San slew and sealed the original Gold Dragon King. The dying remnant soul transferred its remaining power to Yun Feng, asked him to seek revenge, and drew Tang San's seals onto itself to preserve him 1.

After arriving within Tang Wulin's body, Yun Feng recognized that the seals and Old Tang's presence made remaining there dangerous. He separated from Tang Wulin as a weak soul, forcibly possessed Na'er, and overcame the resistance of the Silver Dragon King's incomplete human avatar. Na'er's original existence was erased, leaving Yun Feng as the new Gold Dragon King in her body 1.

Yun Feng reclaimed the Golden Dragon Spear from Tang Wulin, suppressed the conspicuous gold hair and eyes produced by Gold Dragon King power, and entered human society under Na'er's identity. His long-term objective is to reclaim the power still sealed within Tang Wulin and ultimately surpass the Silver Dragon King by combining the powers of both Dragon Kings 1 20.

The Dragon King normally appears as a twelve-year-old girl because his current vessel is Na'er's human incarnation. His appearance changes according to how much Gold Dragon King power he releases 1 70.

Yun Feng is calculating, ambitious, and intensely focused on survival. He chose possession over remaining in Tang Wulin's body, openly reasoning that gender was irrelevant compared with living long enough to pursue godhood 1. He frequently exploits his harmless appearance and the affection of his protectors while privately judging their reactions with amusement 6 10.

As the Gold Dragon King, Yun Feng is domineering toward Soul Beasts and expects obedience from beings beneath his bloodline. He uses threats, dragon might, and Divine Soul Marks to secure loyalty, but couples coercion with a larger promise: a revived and influential Soul Beast race 57 66 67.
