Seeking Only Death

Song Wen and Chen Feihe chatted idly, with Song Wen doing most of the asking and Chen Feihe answering.

From him, Song Wen learned quite a bit about the Corpse Demon Sect's recent circumstances.

Suddenly, Song Wen's expression shifted, and he spoke softly.

"They're here."

"Who's here?"

Chen Feihe asked, then immediately realized.

"Gongsun Jian and the Gongsun Family's Sixth Elder?"

Song Wen nodded.

Dozens of breaths later, Gongsun Jian and the Sixth Elder appeared outside the cave.

Song Wen opened the formation and let the two inside.

The moment they saw Song Wen, their knees buckled and they dropped to the ground.

"Greetings, Senior."

Song Wen asked coldly, "Did you obtain the Worry-Forg getting Mushrooms?"

"We did." The two hurriedly nodded.

The Sixth Elder stepped forward first and waved his hand. Twenty jade boxes appeared neatly on the ground before him.

With a thought from Song Wen, all twenty jade boxes flew before him and opened at once.

Inside each jade box lay a spirit mushroom the size of an egg.

Every mushroom was a different color. Some were brilliantly multicolored, while others were the color of dead ash.

Worry-Forg getting Mushrooms were like this—it was difficult to find two with exactly the same color.

After confirming that there was nothing wrong with the Worry-Forg getting Mushrooms, Song Wen put away the twenty jade boxes. Then he turned to Gongsun Jian.

"What about yours?"

"This junior has prepared everything as well," Gongsun Jian said hastily.

The finger bearing his storage ring twitched slightly, and twenty jade coffins appeared at once.

Gongsun Jian wore a fawning expression. "This junior guessed that Senior would soon use up forty Worry-Forg getting Mushrooms. Therefore, acting on my own initiative, I brought along the corpses used to cultivate the Worry-Forg getting Mushrooms as well."
