Song Wen and Tai He stood several miles apart.

Suddenly, they sensed a terrifying aura from the mountaintop, powerful enough to make heaven and earth change color.

Even with the formation barrier between them, that aura still made both men shudder in fear.

It was as though a great hole had been torn open in the sky above Thunder Mountain, and a silver waterfall several zhang thick came pouring down.

The silver waterfall crashed onto the mountaintop, and in an instant, the earth shook and the mountains swayed.

The violent residual force swept in all directions.

Faintly, the two saw several figures caught in the aftermath, hurled away and sent crashing into the pavilions atop the mountain.

Immediately afterward, a huge figure burst through the dark clouds and dove down toward the stone stairs at the foot of the mountain.

Song Wen recognized it at once. It was that Swift Thunder Harrier!

It was in an awful state. Half its head had rotted away, and half its lower beak was gone.

Its tail was also badly mangled. Nearly half a zhang of its body had vanished, leaving behind a bloody, mangled mess.

Worse still, its aura was extremely chaotic. Clearly, it had exhausted too much demonic power.

The Swift Thunder Harrier was grievously wounded and had little demonic power left. The silver radiance around its body had also vanished, and it could no longer distort the lightning descending from the sky.
