Lin Fan began running through the derelict ship. Nothing could impede his stride; even the finest drilling machines the universe could produce could not match Lin Fan's efficiency.
A human-shaped breach was smashed directly through the heavy metal wall, and Lin Fan plunged downward.
The derelict ship from before vanished, replaced by a sprawling palace complex rising amid flashes of lightning and peals of thunder.
The palace spires impaled countless corpses. Blood mixed with the rain as it flowed down, filling the gaps between the marble tiles.
Amid the encircling palace spires stood the most magnificent hall of all, crudely adorned with chains and spikes. A river of blood violently forced open doors over ten meters high and rushed straight at Lin Fan.
Why was this getting more and more abstract and surreal...
Lin Fan frowned. He felt as though he was inside a madman's mind rather than somewhere that existed in reality.
The familiar white cracks sank downward, splitting the sky like lightning. Just as Lin Fan thought he was about to be transported to another timeline, the white cracks all descended in the same direction.

Lin Fan's eyes widened in surprise. He hurled his spear of light and flashed to the entrance where the river of blood surged.

Konrad Curze's voice exploded beside Lin Fan's ear, and the surrounding scene rapidly transformed into a grand courthouse.
"Judgment of sins!"
The voice rang out again. Lin Fan was bound by chains, and four towering Space Marines appeared before and behind him.
These Space Marines had the same faces as Konrad Curze, but they had no eyeballs and no expressions.
"What does this mean?" Lin Fan shouted in confusion, receiving only Konrad Curze's next roar in response.
