By then, Rebecca had already been connected to the Golden Core. The Golden Core was simply too vast for her; merely maintaining the energy supply to its power systems consumed 75% of her processing capacity, and that was after Oedmeir had adjusted it.

Carrying two reels of film, Lin Fan entered the room. The Primarchs were not wearing armor, only robes and casual clothes according to their own preferences.

Perturabo, Roboute Guilliman, and Fulgrim all wore long robes cinched with belts. Perturabo bared one arm, like a Greek philosopher from an academy; Roboute Guilliman wore an olive wreath, like an old-fashioned noble adorned with countless honors; while Fulgrim, though exposing part of his body beneath his robe, had not neglected its meticulous styling, pinning up several places from shoulder to arm so that its folds hung neatly downward.

Konrad Curze also wore a robe, one Fulgrim had personally made for him. However, he wore it poorly, more like he had tightly wrapped himself in a piece of cloth.
