Carlos silently picked up the historical sealed artifact Carl Bohar had dropped on the ground and handed it over once more. Then he said cryptically, "This is only the beginning. My master's Great Plan is far grander than you imagine."
Carlos vanished, and the Observer's information stopped pouring in as well. Carl Bohar and Amalaga recovered their wits in the Serenity, then slowly opened the historical sealed artifact.
"Machine God above... these technologies are so novel. They are completely unlike the technologies of humans, Aeldari, Necrons, T'au, or Orks." Carl Bohar's voice trembled with emotion as his mechanical prosthetic lightly touched the surface of the coagulated mass formed from vast knowledge.
"These things must have been extracted by that Observer from deeper within the Formless Wastes..." Amalaga guessed. "But how did the Formless Wastes come to exist?"
Carl Bohar's mechanical eyes flickered a few times before he asked in return, "You are an Aeldari. You have lived far longer than I have. I should be asking you that question."
