"Boy! Get up! Did you expect me to personally help you to your feet?"
Dimit slowly came to under the rough shout. Every part of his body hurt, as though both he and his armor were about to shatter together. Various drugs were mechanically injected into his body from within the armor, but they only dulled the agony slightly.

They stood amid a graveyard of crashed mechanical behemoths. Metal wreckage lay everywhere, along with the crushed and mangled corpses of Imperium soldiers.
Oh, right. They had been attacked by two Harbinger bombers hidden within the fifth line of defense. The two Harbingers had dropped ninety-six heavy aerial bombs directly onto the mechanical behemoths, then swiftly departed through a torn Warp rift.
This was the result wrought by the Harbinger bombers: five mechanical behemoths had crashed, while the surviving ones could only begin breaking apart early at the edge of the fifth line of defense.

Before the commissars and officers could rally the exhausted soldiers, the Iron Warriors who had built those defenses, along with other Chaos warbands, emerged from the fifth line. Vast armored forces and mortal servant armies rolled straight into the Imperium forces' faces. Hell Talon heavy fighter-bombers joined their attack as well. Dimit could hear the blasphemous roar of their twin-linked laser cannons and autocannons, as well as the crackling of the small Warp storms stirred up by formations of Hell Talons cutting through the air.
