An Xiaotong is the third miss of the An family and a student of Qiming Academy. Despite her privileged family background, she prefers practical clothing and wilderness work to formal social events. Her second brother, An Shiyu, leads the An family. 540 767

She became the Silent Court’s Black Knight, acting according to its ideal of justice. Before her identity became widely known, she saved people in Gray Soil Town, entered Shelter 189 to force Tyrant to release captives, and destroyed an entrance that others feared to seal. 111

Her deeper origin is tied to a time loop. Tang Guo, the woman who ended the Transcendent Turmoil, died in a previous era and reincarnated as An Xiaotong. In that previous life, she was the Black Queen, one of the Five Emperors; in her present life, she returned as the Black Knight. 756 772
