Background / History

Ning Rongrong entered Shrek Academy as the proud daughter of Sect Master Ning Fengzhi and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s direct heir. During Shrek’s fourth entrance test, she supported Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing against Zhao Wuji with her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. 4

Initially, she openly relied on her sect status and treated commoners with contempt. After skipping punishment laps and heading toward Suotuo City, she injured her ankle and demanded that Lin Jiang carry her; her insults toward him led to a confrontation in which he restrained and threatened her with public humiliation. 11 12 14

The experience left her fearful and shaken, but she later sought Lin Jiang out voluntarily, wanting recognition for her efforts to change. Lin Jiang acknowledged that she had begun making progress, and Ning Rongrong grew increasingly attached to him. 19 20 23

She became Lin Jiang’s partner in 2v2 Soul Fights, providing strength and speed enhancements while he handled the offensive and control duties. Their cooperation continued after Shrek’s collapse and the formation of Return to Ruin Academy. 35 37 102
