Background / History
Carl transmigrated from Earth into a Hydra facility in Sokovia, where he was held as a volunteer for a lethal Mind Stone experiment. Initially powerless and facing probable death, he considered exploiting his knowledge of future events to bargain with Hydra. Instead, the Dimension Master System selected the Warp as his exclusive dimension. 1 2
The Warp gave Carl a path to survival, but also imposed an urgent condition: he needed to raise its Dimension Strength beyond Level 3 before other dimensional beings discovered and devoured it. He refused to abandon his physical body and merge fully with the Warp, choosing to remain human while treating the dimension as his last refuge. 2
While still in Hydra custody, Carl devised a workaround: the Warp would devour the Mind Stone’s power and transmit that energy back to him. The resulting transformation gave him cosmic-energy projection and psychic senses. After absorbing the scepter’s energy, he killed Dr. List and the personnel in the laboratory, then fought his way through Summit Base. 6 7 8 9
Carl later built Warp Group into a major power centered in Sokovia, combining business expansion, media influence, superhuman recruitment, military development, and the systematic collection of Prestige Points. His growth allowed him to stabilize the Warp, establish the Four Peddlers’ performance system, and extend his operations from Earth into the Nine Realms and beyond. 42 85 122 336
Appearance
Following the successful fusion of Super Serum: Phase One, Carl’s body became noticeably larger and heavily muscular. Intricate patterns resembling cosmic star maps or magical runes appeared beneath his skin during the transformation. 372
- Black hair and originally black eyes, which shine gold while channeling Mind Stone energy. 7
- Radiates intense golden light while receiving Energy Transmission from the Warp. 7
- His post-serum physique is described as powerful and steel-like, requiring a larger Thunder Warrior combat suit. 372
- A five-colored Chaos Star can manifest on his forehead when he reveals his power. 340
Personality
Carl is cautious, patient, and intensely survival-driven. Although he began as an ordinary man trapped by Hydra, he consistently evaluates risks before acting, refuses to abandon his body without necessity, and treats power as something to be accumulated methodically rather than gambled recklessly. 1 2 47
His background as a successful salesperson shapes his leadership style. Carl approaches people, public opinion, and supernatural factions through incentives, contracts, performance targets, and long-term returns. He rewards capable subordinates generously, but views loyalty and usefulness as essential requirements. 104 122 187 232
Carl is also manipulative and pragmatic. He uses psychic visions, memory alteration, and calculated bargains to recruit allies or neutralize threats, and he is willing to exploit crises for Prestige Points, influence, and territorial expansion. 22 57 101 458

- As a visitor, he possesses Authority of Destruction, allowing him to erase beings within his own dimension. 2
- At Level 5, he can use Warp Psionic Power directly without The Five acting as intermediaries. 188

- Uses Frank’s memories to study combat reactions and life-or-death experience. 47
- Super Serum: Phase One substantially improves strength, speed, endurance, cell activity, and cellular self-repair. 372
- His physical strength rises to more than five times its prior level, surpassing Captain America’s record. 373
- His enhanced physique raises the ceiling for Energy Transmission and Warp Psionic Power. 373
