Background
Tang Hao arrived in Holy Soul Village twelve years before Spirit Hall located him, carrying an infant Tang San and wearing tattered clothing. The villagers allowed him to stay, where he worked as a highly skilled blacksmith whose farming tools were noted for their durability. He left the village without notice after Tang San began attending school, though he remained hidden in a cave on the back mountain. 13
He was the husband of Ah Yin, the Blue Silver Emperor, and regarded their relationship as genuine love regardless of her soul-beast identity. Spirit Hall instead treated his relationship with Ah Yin and his role in Qian Xunji's death as unforgivable crimes. 13 15

Tang Hao was described as a burly, rough-looking man with an unshaven face. By the time of his capture, prolonged hiding and severe injuries left him resembling a beggar. 13 15
