Background / History

Di Tian is an ancient dragon-aligned soul beast who formerly served as captain of the Dragon God's personal guard. This history gives him knowledge of the God Realm and of the restriction preventing soul beasts from becoming gods. His devotion to the Dragon God and the revival of the dragon race is described as an obsession and faith that has defined his life. 46 49

When the Three-Eyed Golden Lion senses the apparent fall of the newly born Emperor Auspicious Beast, Yu Chen, Di Tian responds with uncontrollable fury. He issues a command to all Star Dou soul beasts to launch a beast tide against human cities, treating the incident as an intolerable humiliation to the forest. 40
