Background / History

The Golden Dragon King was confined within the Divine Forbidden Land, a prison protected by restrictive laws potent enough to destroy ordinary gods. Tang San visited him under the pretense of offering leniency, but secretly used the Heart of the Sea God to absorb and analyze a sample of the dragon king's origin power. The Golden Dragon King rejected surrender and denounced Tang San's professed compassion as hypocrisy. 1

While despairing in his cage, he accidentally activated an ancient mechanism connected to a fragment of the River of Time. The visions he received showed Tang San's long-term plan: Tang Wulin's eventual relationship with Gu Yuena and the Dragon God's divine position ultimately passing into the Tang Family's sphere. Convinced that the dragon clan would be exploited for humanity's benefit, he swore vengeance against Tang San. 1

To counter Tang San's plan, the Golden Dragon King created a hidden subspace beyond the God Realm's perception. He used his own origin blood and divine power to forcibly create a son, Yu Chen, intending for him to win Gu Yuena's affection and preserve the Dragon God's godhood for the Dragon Clan. 2 3
