Background / History

Blood Cloud originated from a strand of Pangu Heartblood Origin that overflowed during the fusion of Red Cloud's Pangu Heartblood, water, fire, and wind origins. Red Cloud selected this Blood Cloud to create an External Body Incarnation, judging that its Pangu-derived origin would allow it to begin at least at the Golden Immortal level. Red Cloud placed restrictions within it, formed it into a human shape, and projected his consciousness through it while his true body remained concealed and cultivated. 4

Initially, Blood Cloud existed as a tool for gathering opportunities in the Primordial World. His limited share of Pangu Heartblood Origin left his body-refinement aptitude below his talent for mana and Primordial Spirit cultivation, forcing him to rely on Great Sun Divine Pills to balance his development. 23

Red Cloud later realized that Blood Cloud could not reach Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal while remaining a mere instrument. The breakthrough required him to progress from “self,” to “superego,” to “selflessness,” making genuine autonomy necessary despite the risk that an independent incarnation could no longer be perfectly controlled. 53 54

Blood Cloud is cautious, strategic, and intensely survival-minded. He conceals his identity when useful, such as introducing himself to Black Tiger as “Blood Cloud” rather than using Red Cloud's name to guard against hidden schemes. 47

He is also vindictive toward enemies who pursued or humiliated him. After reaching Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal, he immediately sought Golden Dragon to settle their long-standing conflict, treating the battle as both revenge and a test of whether Zenith Heaven Golden Immortals could truly be killed. 58 60

Despite this ruthlessness, Blood Cloud treats the other Cloud incarnations as part of a shared whole. He willingly gave the Candlefire Parasol Tree to Fire Cloud when it proved essential to Fire Cloud's opportunity, stating that it made little difference whose hands held it. 80

Flight through Azure Parasol Mountain

While pursued by the Phoenix Clan and Dragon Clan, Blood Cloud entered the Azure Parasol ruins. He defeated Azure Parasol Ancestor's projection, seized Azure Parasol Palace and Azure Parasol Sword, and escaped the Immortal Crane through a teleportation formation. 40 43 44

Confucian Dao Breakthrough

After evading his pursuers on Buzhou Mountain, Blood Cloud refined Eighth-Turn Great Sun Divine Pills over several thousand years. He used their body-tempering power to complete his cultivation, condensed the Confucian Dao Foundation, and entered the Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm. 57

Revenge Against Golden Dragon

Blood Cloud returned to confront Golden Dragon, effortlessly killing the dragon's Scaled Clan followers before battling Golden Dragon across several stages.
