Wind-Thunder Pavilion Successor

Feng Qing'er was a Heaven Demon Phoenix clanswoman with a comparatively thin bloodline and limited standing within her clan. Seeking resources and a path beyond her perceived Dou Venerable limit, she joined the Wind-Thunder Pavilion under Thunder Venerable and rose through persistent effort to become its successor 123.

She first encountered Su Heng at the entrance to the Tianmu Mountain Range, arriving on a Seven-Colored Spirit Crane. Suspicious of his use of Wind-Thunder Pavilion movement techniques and his knowledge of her identity, she initially attacked him and demanded an explanation 122. After Su Heng reached the Heavenly Mountain Platform through the mountain fog almost as quickly as she did, she honored their agreement and began taking him seriously 123.

Feng Qing'er arranged for Su Heng to visit the Wind-Thunder Pavilion and sought his aid in refining a Heaven Demon Phoenix corpse for Ancient Phoenix Blood Essence. She regarded the blood essence as her chance to overcome the limits imposed by her weak clan support and bloodline 123 125 127.

Four Pavilions Conference

At the Four Pavilions Conference, Feng Qing'er won the free-for-all competition. Her rival Mu Qingluan forced her to reveal the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan's inherited Demon Phoenix Saint Aspect, publicly exposing her identity; Feng Qing'er considered needing this trump card against a lower-bloodline opponent deeply humiliating 127.

During the journey to the Beast Domain, Feng Qing'er defended Medusa and Qing Lin from a Two-Star Dou Venerable of the Nine Netherworld Python Clan despite the vast disparity in strength. She was knocked unconscious, but recovered and supplied Medusa with a pill that temporarily suppressed Qing Lin's poison before flying to seek help from her clan 131 132.

Her request brought Huang Xuan of the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan to the group, saving Su Heng from Pill Lightning. Feng Qing'er then cared for Su Heng during his more than two-month coma and guided him through her clan's territory 133 134.

She accompanied Su Heng into the Ancestral Shrine Altar for his trial. Though horrified by the need to dismember an Ancient Heavenly Phoenix ancestor's corpse to recover its blood essence and Beast Flame, she ultimately trusted Su Heng's judgment 136 137. The remnant soul Huang Yi transmitted Ancient Heavenly Phoenix Dou Techniques to her and purified blood essence for both her and Su Heng 137.

The inheritance restored Feng Qing'er's ancestral bloodline, raising her directly to Four-Star Dou Venerable and transforming her into an Ancient Heavenly Phoenix.
