Tang San encounters Su Chen while searching for a Mandala Snake Soul Ring with Yu Xiaogang. Angered by Su Chen's indifference and refusal to recognize his claim over the area, Tang San fires poisoned Sleeve Arrows at Su Chen from behind. 11

Su Chen destroys the arrows after creating the Sword Control Art, breaks Tang San's right wrist, and defeats his subsequent attempts with Mysterious Jade Hand, Ghost Shadow Perplexing Step, and additional hidden weapons. 12 Tang San later accepts a head-on exchange, but his Blue Silver Grass is neutralized and he is left humiliated alongside Yu Xiaogang. 13

Star Dou Great Forest

Tang San encounters Su Chen again while hunting with Shrek Academy. The earlier defeat has become a heart demon, and Tang San immediately seeks revenge. 75

After Xiao Wu suffers mental backlash from Su Chen's counterattack, Tang San challenges Su Chen and uses the Dragon Beard Needle. The weapon is destroyed, and Tang San is pinned to a tree by sword qi with all four limbs severely injured. 76 77
