Background / History

Qian Renxue spent years impersonating Heaven Dou’s eldest prince, Xue Qinghe. To preserve the identity, she concealed the aura of her Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul and carefully regulated her speech, mannerisms, meals, and movements; a single mistake could have exposed her to the imperial court and Prince Xue Xing. Her public perfection, however, also made Xue Xing more suspicious of her. 22 31

When Su Chen arrived in Heaven Dou City as the Papal Hall’s Holy Son, Xue Qinghe initially considered him an unsuitable child sent into a dangerous political struggle. After Su Chen’s Great Sun Tathagata Sword Intent caused her Martial Soul to tremble in submission, she abandoned that assessment and agreed to discuss the empire’s situation with him. 29

Su Chen identified the limitations of her Soul Bone disguise and taught her the Void Illusion Divine Art. The technique purified her Angel Bloodline, raised her Soul Power from level 60 to level 62, and transformed the disguise into an aura and appearance naturally fused with her body. 30

With Su Chen acting as an aide of the Crown Prince’s Residence, Xue Qinghe moved against Prince Xue Xing’s influence. She supported Su Chen’s challenge at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, where his victory over the academy’s elite stripped Xue Xing of his control over the institution and strengthened the Crown Prince’s political position. 32 33 35

When Xue Xing infiltrated thousands of death warriors into Heaven Dou City, Xue Qinghe and Su Chen turned the planned raid on the Crown Prince’s Residence into a political counterattack. Although Xue Xing escaped immediate punishment through the intervention of an unknown force and Emperor Xue Ye’s desire to preserve courtly balance, Xue Qinghe continued consolidating her position. 37 40 41 43

She later led the public response to the Strengthening Pill crisis, distributing Su Chen’s antidote free of charge, seizing Royal Pharmacies’ records, and presenting the evidence against Xue Xing at court. Her actions earned public support and exposed the Prince’s Residence’s connection to the poison scheme. 52 53 54

During the Blood Fiend Formation disaster, Xue Qinghe remained at the Crown Prince’s Residence and refused evacuation while Su Chen was in seclusion. After Mo Feng’s defeat, the dying Xue Ye named her his successor; she became Emperor of the Heaven Dou Empire. 60 61

By the time of the Advanced Soul Master Tournament, she had left a Divine Art-created clone to govern Heaven Dou and returned to Spirit Hall under the name Xue’er, joining Su Chen’s Female Immortal Squad. 86
