Background / History

Qian Renxue is Spirit Hall's Young Mistress and Qian Daoliu's granddaughter. Possessing innate level-twenty soul power and the god-tier Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul, she was sent into Heaven Dou at age nine and spent twenty years living under the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. Her mission was to infiltrate the imperial court and secure the Heaven Dou Empire for Spirit Hall. 1 22

Her carefully constructed coup collapses when Tang San intervenes. Reduced to despair by the failure of her twenty-year plan and her inability to defeat Tang San, Qian Renxue consents to the voice within her Sea of Spirit taking revenge. This awakens Qian Sha Yu, a male “Second Personality” and Demon King Guardian who assumes control of her body. 1

While Qian Sha Yu controls her body, Heaven Dou City is violently seized. Zhao Wuji, Flender, Tai Tan, Liu Erlong, Emperor Xue Ye, Prince Xue Xing, and others are killed; Bone Douluo loses an arm during the fighting. Qian Renxue later regains control with no memory beyond the failed palace battle, leaving her horrified to discover that the empire has fallen under her authority. 6 20 21

After learning that Qian Sha Yu is bound to her soul and possesses an independent Killing Angel Martial Soul, she accepts the immediate need to consolidate Heaven Dou City. She places the city under martial law, purges Xue Ye's remaining supporters, and begins prioritizing cultivation after recognizing the limits of her political methods. 22 23 25

When four Papal Hall elders attempt to strip her of Heaven Dou's Imperial Seal and authority, Qian Renxue deliberately permits Qian Sha Yu to take over for seventy-two hours on the condition that he preserve her regime. His subsequent defeat of the elders further changes her view of power, though his indiscriminate killings repeatedly conflict with her political and moral judgment. 31 32 37

Qian Renxue eventually returns to Spirit City and openly tells Qian Daoliu and the Worship Hall about Qian Sha Yu. Although Qian Daoliu cannot initially detect the hidden personality, an emergency takeover later allows Qian Sha Yu to reveal himself publicly and attack him. Qian Daoliu defeats the possessing personality in battle, leaving Qian Sha Yu mortally wounded. 46 48 49

Qian Renxue is portrayed as a slender, exceptionally beautiful woman with long golden hair, clear golden eyes, and a cold, sacred bearing. Her usual presence is associated with pure Angel Soul Power and golden light. 1 21

Personality

Qian Renxue is proud, disciplined, and accustomed to bearing Spirit Hall's expectations alone. Her twenty-year infiltration reflects patience, political intelligence, and a willingness to sacrifice her youth for the Qian Clan's cause. The collapse of that plan deeply damages her confidence because it forces her to confront how much cultivation she neglected. 22 23

She is increasingly persuaded that strength is the foundation of political power, particularly after Qian Sha Yu succeeds through force where her covert scheme failed. Even so, she does not wholly share his worldview: she argues for recruiting Dugu Bo rather than killing him and rejects a proposal to fake her death to manipulate Qian Daoliu into massacring their enemies. 30 37

Her relationship with Tang San is conflicted. She initially acknowledges his talent and danger, while Qian Sha Yu accuses her of being emotionally compromised by an enemy. After he recounts Tang San's actions and alleged hypocrisy, she begins to question her former admiration and judgment. 26 27

Qian Renxue strongly values her autonomy and dignity.
