Its quality differs significantly between individuals. Kenpachi Zaraki's pressure is described as an instinctive embodiment of battle and destruction, while Liu Chuan's can be measured, precisely controlled, and applied as a focused restraint 7 15.

Spiritual Pressure can be sensed as a presence, direction, fluctuation, or collision of powers.

• Lille Barro detects Liu Chuan and Kibune Ri from their rapidly approaching Spiritual Pressures during his battle with Amagai Shūsuke 78.

Overwhelming Spiritual Pressure can physically restrain, incapacitate, or kill weaker targets without a direct attack.
