then being killed in a single blow was entirely possible.

What made up for this was Takemikazuchi's armor-like transformation... it greatly increased his defense.

At the very least, it kept him from being instantly killed.

Unfortunately, Takemikazuchi was incredibly careless. One could even say that he had been fooling around throughout the battle... just as always.

No, calling the thing in this Machine God Soldier's hand a "Light Beam gun" seemed rather underwhelming.

Takemikazuchi was directly washed away by the emitted E (Emotion) light beam, turning into a wisp of blue smoke.

However, Takemikazuchi did not need to enter the Resurrection Match.

The reason was simple: Takemikazuchi would not become "near death," nor was he destined to truly die.

Every time thunder and lightning flashed, there was a small chance that Takemikazuchi would revive. Perhaps his luck was exceptionally good...

Or perhaps it was thanks to the terrible weather currently sweeping the battlefield.

Takemikazuchi... had gloriously revived!

Before the red Machine God Soldier could react, Takemikazuchi, who had just been obliterated into scraps, emerged from the thunder with a strange cry.

With obvious terror on his face, Takemikazuchi instantly transformed into lightning and fled from the Machine God Soldier.
