"A little."

Qian Renxue closed her eyes, feeling the warmth and faint scent coming from him. It was a mixture of sunlight, green grass, and a barely perceptible sharpness that put her at ease.

"Then... shall we find somewhere to get a proper rest tonight?"

Dai Chengfeng's voice deepened, carrying a hint so subtle it was almost imperceptible.

Qian Renxue opened her eyes and met his deep gaze. The emotions surging within made her heart skip a beat.
