"I can do it myself," she said softly, but she did not truly stop him.
"Let me take care of you," Dai Chengfeng insisted, continuing what he was doing.
After he wiped her clean, he quickly cleaned himself up as well, then lay back down beside her and pulled her into his arms. The sunlight was just right, and a breeze brushed past, carrying waves of floral fragrance.
"Are you cold?" Dai Chengfeng asked. Though the weather was warm, neither of them had a stitch on.
Bibi Dong shook her head and instead nestled a little closer to him. "You're very warm."
Dai Chengfeng smiled and pulled over the Pope's Robe lying scattered nearby, covering the two of them with it. The purple-gold fabric shimmered beneath the sun, yet now it was only their makeshift blanket.
"If the people of Martial Soul Hall saw this, they'd probably be terrified," Bibi Dong said, looking at the Pope's Robe over them as she teased him.
"Then don't let them see." Dai Chengfeng held her tighter. "This side of you is only for me to see."
Sweetness bloomed in Bibi Dong's heart, and she said no more, simply quietly enjoying this peace. She had never imagined she would be intimate with a man out in the wild like this, and even less had she imagined she would feel so relaxed and satisfied.
"What are you thinking about?" Dai Chengfeng's deep and low voice sounded above her head, carrying a lazy, hoarse rasp after their passion.
Bibi Dong shook her head slightly, rubbing her cheek against his warm skin. "Nothing. I just feel... like this isn't quite real."
Dai Chengfeng chuckled softly, the vibration in his chest spreading through her whole body. He tightened the arm wrapped around her waist, making her press even
