The corridor seemed endless, and the attacks grew increasingly complex and varied. From simple wind blades to invisible wind pressure traps, from mind-bewitching auditory hallucinations of wind sounds to the Breath of Storm that directly struck the soul... each wave of attacks tested a different aspect of the trial taker. Bibi Dong's clothes were sliced open in several places by invisible wind blades, and several bloody marks had been added to her body. Her Mental Power had been drained enormously as well, but her eyes remained bright and sharp, and her understanding of the Laws of Wind rose rapidly through actual combat. She even began trying to actively control a portion of the Wind Element within the corridor, forming simple shields or counterattacks. Though still rough, it represented a shift from passive response to active control.
Who knew how long she had walked, or how many waves of attacks she had crushed. The Wind Wall ahead suddenly parted to both sides, revealing a circular exit as soft light shone through. Bibi Dong took a deep breath, suppressed her roiling blood and Soul Power, and stepped out of the Wind Corridor.
Her view suddenly opened up. She found herself standing in a void. Above, below, left, and right, there was only emptiness—no sky, no earth, only a boundless cyan space as clear as a mirror. It reflected her own figure; countless "Bibi Dongs" watched her from every angle, their eyes and expressions all different. This was the second trial, the "Mirror Realm of the Void."
