Background / History

Xie Tian is a descendant of the influential Xie Household of Hong Kong Island, one of the four great families. He has older siblings and was initially expected to live comfortably as a playboy, though he ultimately chooses to seek his own path. His grandfather, Old Master Xie, believes that following Xue Chen will give him a future. 122 123

When he reunites with Xue Chen at a casino, Xie Tian confidently presents him as an “expert” for a Texas Hold'em game—only to learn that Xue Chen has never played before.
