Fu Hengzhou is the son of Fu Guosheng and a member of the Fu Household. His mother was the youngest daughter of the Qi Household, while his older brother, Fu Hengqi—the heir selected by their grandfather—died under mysterious circumstances after being found drowned in an ornamental pond at age four.
