Background / History

When he was eight, Xuan Zhe met a young Wen Shuang in a remote mountain region and promised that he would return for him and show him the outside world. Wen Shuang treated the childhood promise as a vow and later worked to enter Power One on his own merits. 107 108

In the original timeline, Xuan Zhe’s body was controlled by the world’s plot and forced into obsessive devotion to Lu Li while his consciousness remained trapped as a bystander. His controlled body ultimately died together with Tang Weisheng. Once freed, Xuan Zhe’s resentment reduced Lu Li’s Charm Score to zero, threatening the world’s collapse; he accepted the system’s proposal to reset the timeline on the condition that Wen Shuang’s soul would be sent to a safe, happy life. 104 108
