Background / History

Wan Fuqi was born deaf and has relied primarily on a hearing aid in his right ear. His Enigma traits, congenital hearing impairment, and complicated family circumstances led to continuous psychological and medical treatment from age six. Before adulthood, he was kept under constant surveillance, restricted from extensive contact outside the family, and fitted with an electronic wristband that summoned sedatives when his pheromones fluctuated. 34 141

At eighteen, years of treatment and good behavior earned him release from the monitoring wristband and the right to mark a partner. Having had little contact with peers, he began looking for an “ideal partner” in bars and private clubs, then enrolled at university. In Willow City, he encountered Li Mao and experienced his first overwhelming desire to mark someone. 34

Personality

Wan Fuqi initially approaches affection through instinct, possession, and control. His Enigma territoriality, isolation, and childhood treatment left him with weak moral boundaries and a tendency to act on immediate desires without considering consequences.
