Cursed Spirits are formed when negative emotions emitted by humans accumulate over time. They are naturally hostile to humans; most act on instinct, while a minority possess intelligence, human speech, and specialized abilities 4.

Ordinary humans possess cursed energy but normally cannot control it or perceive Cursed Spirits. They may awaken Spirit Vision only when near death or directly attacked by one 4.

Cursed Spirits can regenerate by absorbing cursed energy so long as they avoid fatal damage. Their bodies and resilience differ from those of human sorcerers because they are beings composed of negative emotions 16.

Appearance

Cursed Spirits have no fixed anatomy. Their forms reflect their origin, grade, and individual nature, ranging from tiny insects to humanoid entities and enormous aberrations.

• Fly Heads resemble insectoid creatures about the size of an adult human arm 2.
• The spirit targeting Delia Saito had dark-blue hair, a swollen head, multiple eyes, four arms, two feet, and a long tail 6.
• Zomba was covered in light-green fur, with ape-like limbs, folded legs, and an elephant-like face 7.
