Wang Jing was a wealthy and influential second-generation heir known in Harbor City’s elite circles. He had undergone secondary differentiation into an S-rank alpha and relied on both his pheromones and social backing to intimidate others. He was previously detained on suspicion of rape, but was released within a short period due to his connections. 13 46

Before openly attacking Ye Qingpu, Wang repeatedly sent him expensive roses, gifts, and pheromone-scented cards. Ye rejected these advances and ordered that all future gifts from Wang be discarded without being shown to him. 13 27

Pursuit of Ye Qingpu

Wang visits Ye Qingpu’s office under the pretext of checking in on him, then makes explicit sexual remarks and presses Ye to have dinner with him. Ye maintains a professional façade while refusing him. 13

He continues pursuing Ye through extravagant rose deliveries, including flowers deliberately infused with his pheromones. Ye has them thrown away. 27

Harbor Seat Banquet

Wang hosts a banquet and publicly acts friendly toward Ye while repeatedly touching and harassing him. Ye avoids escalating the situation in front of the assembled elite guests. 31

Unable to abduct Ye openly, Wang drugs his champagne and has him taken to a storage room. Wang and several associates bind Ye, release aphrodisiac pheromones, and attempt to assault him. 32

Ye fights back, repeatedly kicks Wang, escapes through a window, and enters the main banquet hall injured rather than allow Wang to hide the crime. The public exposure leads to Wang being swiftly detained as the prime suspect. 32 33

Captivity and Death

After Wang is released through his backer’s influence, Pei Jiaqian and Huo Sili seize him at an abandoned factory. Pei tortures Wang, removes his alpha gland, and leaves him alive at the time of the encounter. 46

Wang is later reported dead; police recover his clothing from a river, while fish have consumed most of his body. 47
