Background / History

Early connection with Ye Qingpu

Pei Jiaqian had remembered and pined for Ye Qingpu for years before their reunion. As a younger student mocked for being an “inferior Alpha,” he was reassured by Ye, who rejected gender hierarchy and promised to protect him until his family arrived. 5 42 45

He completed his Enigma differentiation abroad and deliberately concealed both his fourth-gender status and overseas records. After returning to the country, he approached Ye under a fabricated identity as a psychologically fragile omega with a tragic background. 7 36

While acting as Ye’s personal bodyguard, Pei secretly drugged Ye’s honey water to make him sleep, then repeatedly entered his bed at night. When Ye later tried to condition him into fearing Ye through electric torture and images of Ye’s face, Pei endured the ordeal and continued smiling at the images. 1 36

Marking and differentiation
