Nature and Structure

The Primordial World is a vast, spiritually saturated realm inhabited by Innate Divine Beings, Innate Living Beings, cultivators, and major clans. Its scale is immense: even a Taiyi Golden Immortal capable of crossing hundreds of millions of li in a thought can spend thousands of years traveling the East Sea without reaching its edge 2.

The world possesses a stable spatial barrier. Tearing space open—particularly at sacred sites such as Kunlun Mountain—requires exceptional power, though Tongtian can do so while transporting several disciples without strain 7.

When Jing Chu accepts his identity as an existence of this world, the Primordial World responds with Purple Cloud Divine Thunder and grants him inherited memories, formally recognizing him as an orthodox being rather than an outsider 1.

Spiritual Environment

• Innate spiritual qi, spiritual roots, divine waters, and spiritual treasures are distributed throughout the world’s blessed lands and divine mountains 1 2.
• Sha Qi, resentment, and Tribulation Qi accumulate through widespread killing and conflict, contaminating both the land and its innate spiritual energy 12 15.

Hongjun’s declaration of Sagehood marks the beginning of an era in which major powers prepare for greater calamities, while the Three Pure Ones have not yet attained Sagehood themselves 1 2.

The Primordial World is increasingly destabilized by the Witch Clan and Demon Race. The Witch Clan claims dominion over the Primordial Land and wages wars that generate resentment and Sha Qi, while the Demon Court pursues power through force, including its attempt to seize Hongyun’s Primordial Purple Qi 12 18 21.

• Witch Clan — controls much of the Primordial Land and is in continual tension with the Demon Race; its lack of Primordial Spirits prevents its members from becoming Sages 12 18.
• Demon Court — led by Dijun and Donghuang Taiyi, with Kunpeng among its major figures; it acts against Hongyun to obtain Primordial Purple Qi 18 21.
• Three Pure Ones — major Kunlun Mountain cultivators whose disciples and protection shape Jing Chu’s place in the world 6 7.
