Background / History

Before taking form, Bixiao traveled with her sisters Yunxiao and Qiongxiao and their brother Zhao Gongming as a jade-green cloud. The group was pursued by two Taiyi Golden Immortal Golden Flood Dragons until Jing Chu intervened, purified the dragons' baleful aura, and ultimately slew them. Bixiao and her siblings accepted Jing Chu's proposal to travel with him and learn how to transform. 3 4

During Jing Chu's thousand-year discussion of the Dao on an East Sea island, Bixiao comprehended her own path and formed a Primordial Dao Body. She then accompanied Jing Chu, Yunxiao, Qiongxiao, and Zhao Gongming on the ten-thousand-year journey from the East Sea to Kunlun Mountain. 4 5

At Kunlun Mountain, Bixiao became one of Tongtian's disciples alongside her siblings and Jing Chu. Because she and Qiongxiao had the weakest cultivation among the group, Jing Chu used his Dao rhyme to help them ascend the mountain. 6

Bixiao settled near Jing Chu's cave dwelling with her sisters. She later advanced to the mid-stage Golden Immortal realm during Tongtian's lecture, though she remained behind Yunxiao in cultivation. 8 9

When Jing Chu prepared to travel the Primordial World, Bixiao secretly told Golden Spirit Holy Mother Jin Ling that he was exceptionally strong, deliberately provoking Jin Ling's challenge. After Qiongxiao exposed her, Jing Chu bound Bixiao to a spirit tree for several days as a lighthearted punishment. 10

Jing Chu later gave Bixiao two Eight-Turn Golden Pills to support her cultivation, explaining that they should help her progress toward the late-stage Golden Immortal realm. 15

She is highly curious about the wider Primordial World and eagerly anticipated leaving the East Sea. Her excitement about travel continued after Jing Chu announced his journey, although he refused to bring the Three Skies because their cultivation was too low. 5 14

Bixiao frequently creates trouble for amusement. She inferred that Duobao had been punished by Yuanshi, leaked Jing Chu's strength to the battle-loving Jin Ling, and eagerly watched the resulting duel. 8 10 13
