- Maintains a roguish, teasing smile even during confrontations. 46 53
- His expression becomes cold and blade-like when dealing with threats to South River or Peak Martial Arts Hall. 46 88
Personality
Xiao Wuhen is confident, provocative, and openly domineering. He views strength as the basis for order, and he will use Peak Martial Arts Hall’s authority without compromise against those who challenge it. His treatment of Chen Haidong, Gao Bancheng, and Wang Tian shows that he has little patience for status-based intimidation or disrespect. 46 47 53
Despite his ruthless methods, he is deeply devoted to Peak Martial Arts Hall’s role in protecting humanity. He reveres its Hall Master and regards the organization as the force that preserved human civilization through the darkest era. 48
He is also fiercely protective of South River’s ordinary citizens. When the great households propose abandoning the East, West, and South Districts during the Beast Tide, he rejects the plan outright and chooses to defend the East City Wall with the South River branch rather than abandon civilians. 89 90
Xiao Wuhen is described as a battle maniac. He welcomes powerful enemies as opportunities to test his blade, even when heavily outnumbered. 92 93
Abilities & Skills

Saber Techniques
Xiao Wuhen uses swift, agile, and highly variable saber techniques, contrasting with Lin Ming’s force-oriented spear style. His techniques are especially suited to mobile and multi-target combat. 93
- Wind God Slash—Thousand Streams — Creates numerous afterimages and unleashes a flood of pale-blue saber lights that envelop multiple opponents. 93
- Fought five Fifth Tier Mutated Beasts alone and continuously inflicted bone-deep wounds on them. 93
- Uses a movement-focused fighting style to evade, reposition, and exploit openings against stronger enemies. 93
Blood-Weeping Slash
A forbidden technique used when Xiao Wuhen is forced into a desperate fight against superior opponents. 94

Command and Crisis Leadership
As South River’s Peak Martial Arts Hall Inspector, Xiao Wuhen coordinates defenses and personally responds to high-tier threats. 88

Background / History
Xiao Wuhen serves as the Peak Martial Arts Hall Inspector assigned to South River Base City, a position with substantial influence over local affairs. He investigates Lin Ming after the latter survives Blade Camp, is framed by the Chen Household, and kills numerous bounty hunters in the Wilderness. Impressed by Lin Ming’s talent, temperament, and ruthlessness, Xiao Wuhen orders that Lin Ming be brought to him alive before Chen Haidong can kill him. 39
He intervenes when Chen Haidong attempts to execute Lin Ming, declaring that Peak Martial Arts Hall wants Lin Ming. After effortlessly crushing Chen Haidong’s attack and severely injuring him, Xiao Wuhen kills Gao Bancheng for demanding that Peak Martial Arts Hall give the Gao Household face. He then takes Lin Ming away. 46 47
Recognizing Lin Ming’s potential, Xiao Wuhen brings him directly to Peak Martial Arts Hall Headquarters in Upper Capital Base City. He arranges Lin Ming’s registration as an official disciple and sends him into the Peak Special Training Camp through one of South River’s limited recommendation slots. 48 49 50 53
