When Tatsuya Sakuya suggested taking a photo together, Airi Sakura visibly froze for a moment.
The cheeks that had just relaxed in front of the camera began to flush again at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"A-a photo together?"
Airi Sakura looked at Tatsuya Sakuya somewhat helplessly, her small hands nervously clutching the hem of her pleated skirt. Her voice was as soft as a mosquito's buzz:
"B-but... I didn't bring a tripod with me today."
There was no way to take a selfie with a digital camera unless it was mounted on a stand.
They couldn't exactly stretch out an arm to take it. That wouldn't keep the shot steady at all.
Airi Sakura furrowed her brows slightly and troubled herself over the problem.
"That doesn't really count as a problem, does it?"
Tatsuya Sakuya shook his head with a laugh and glanced around:
"The Old School Building usually doesn't have many people around, but it's not exactly the middle of nowhere. We just need to find someone passing by and ask them to press the shutter for us."
"Huh? A-ask someone else for help?"
Airi Sakura immediately shrank back a little, instinctively retreating.
She felt nervous and stammered even when speaking normally with her classmates in the classroom, let alone taking the initiative to talk to a stranger.
Besides, she wasn't wearing her plain glasses right now. Her long hair was loose, and she had put on makeup. She completely looked like Shizuku, the unknown girl who usually hid behind a screen.
If another student recognized her or kept staring at her, she felt she might suffocate from embarrassment on the spot. She immediately began to regret coming.
If only I had called Haruka over. With Haruka beside me, would I have been a little braver?
