Background

Shi Qingyue is Shi Xiuyan's son and Liu Yunche's childhood companion. The Shi and Liu households regard one another as family, and Qingyue and Yunche are described as being as close as brothers. He had trained in martial arts since childhood, building a firm physical foundation well before Liu Yunche began cultivating. 6

Before breaking through to Flesh Tempering, Shi Qingyue was already known for his solid bones, robust physique, and diligent practice. He confidently deferred a century-old ginseng intended for him so it could instead help Liu Yunche recover and establish his martial foundation. 6

Azure Radiance Mountain Hunt

Shi Qingyue joined the Green Grain Martial Academy's hunt into Azure Radiance Mountain. He fought alongside Liu Yunche and their peers, suggested splitting up for individual training, then survived alone in the wilderness by hunting demonic beasts. 21 23 30
