Background / History

Lu Li was a long-time player of the game Martial World, having played for twenty years and cleared major storylines and side quests across more than ten versions. After falling asleep, he awakened in Cloud Province City—now a real and demon-ravaged version of the game world—still wearing his pajamas. His knowledge of future events, factions, martial arts, and hidden opportunities became his principal advantage. 1

After activating the Demon Compendium in the Liu Residence, Lu Li chose Taowu for its defensive qualities and fought through the demon calamity. He found the child Liu Yueling, recovered the Emerald Jade containing the Erosion Essence Scripture, and was ordered by Shuang Qiuyue to escort Yueling to the Miao Poison Sect in the Southern Wasteland. 2 3 7

His journey shifted after the events at White Crow Town. Lu Li protected the Dog Children, destroyed the Huang Household's local threat, acquired the treasure weapon Xuandu and the Heart-Breaking Buddha Body, then continued toward Qingzhou City with Liu Yueling.
