Background / History

Suiren was one of the three thousand Primordial Humans and became the Human Race's acknowledged leader through his unyielding will, courage to explore, and prestige earned through action. His cultivation had reached the True Immortal Realm, placing him above the other humans of his time. 3

When Yuan Ming presented the Four-Step Breathing Method, Suiren recognized its potential to let Postnatal Humans return to the Innate Realm. He assembled the elders, selected one hundred Postnatal Humans to test the method, and personally supervised the trial. 3

After the method succeeded, Suiren convened a ceremony at the Holy Mother Temple alongside Ziyi and Youchao. He publicly named Yuan Ming the Fourth Human Ancestor for opening a cultivation path for the Human Race's Postnatal descendants. 3

As population growth strained the Shore of the East Sea's resources, Suiren called the elders and Human Progenitors together to address the crisis. He accepted Yuan Ming's proposal to divide the Human Race into five pioneering groups, each led by a Primordial Human, and entrusted Yuan Ming with the dangerous western route. 7

Following the migrations, Suiren remained at the Ancestral Land to govern its affairs. When the Four-Step Breathing Method ceased to advance the clansmen beyond the Innate Realm, he reported the problem to Yuan Ming and accepted the Dao Scripture for transmission throughout the remaining tribes and other Human Race settlements. 13
