Background

Nuwa first lives on Phoenix Perch Mountain as Wa, alongside her brother Xi. Their Origin Sources have been scattered into more than a thousand portions, leaving them unable to cultivate despite their extraordinary foundations. Wa nevertheless possesses an innate healing talent, which she uses to mend Xi's injuries at severe personal cost. 108 110 112

Bai Ze saves Wa from a Fierce Beast and gradually recognizes that Xi and Wa are fragments of Fuxi and Nuwa's respective Origin Sources. He brings them into a cave abode whose inheritances resonate with their original forms. There, Nuwa's Creation Qi awakens, her connection to the Water Spirit Pearl deepens, and the outline of her human-bodied, serpent-tailed true form begins to reappear. 107 116 117

Her recovered power does not immediately restore her memories. Nuwa instead travels with Bai Ze and Fuxi, cultivating, recovering lost Origin Source fragments, and confronting the calamities spreading across the Primordial World. 118 124

Nuwa is initially a gentle young woman with fair skin, picturesque brows and eyes, a slender waist, and long legs. When Bai Ze first meets her, she wears simple garments made from beast hide; later, she changes into modern clothing and receives more comfortable shoes from him. 107 115
